アーボ is 6’7” and weighs 15.2 lbs. “Ekans” is snake spelled backwards. It is based on a boa while its facial markings resemble those found on a spectacled cobra. Ekans moves stealthily through grass and preys on bird eggs. It grows longer with age and wraps itself ‘round branches at night to rest. If not on a tree, it will coil itself up so that it can defend itself from all directions. Its jaw can detach to swallow large Pokemon but such a meal can make it too heavy to move. アーボック has been known to be capable of staying underwater for long periods of time. “Arbok” is cobra backwards but with a “k” instead of “c.” has a vengeful nature and will not give up a chase once it targets its opponent. サンド is two feet and weighs 26.5 lbs. Sandshrew is derived from the pangolin, a mammal that curls into a ball, has sharp claws, and lives in desert regions. When hunting, it hides at the lip of its burrow. If prey comes close, it lunges out and drags it in instantly. サンドパン draws inspiration from hedgehogs, porcupines, and echidnas. Sandslash can roll up its body that’s covered with large spikes. In battle, it will try to make the foe flinch by jabbing it with its spines, then leaps at the stunned enemy to tear wildly with its sharp claws.
